About Me

Connecting the dots in the
space industry.

Hi, I'm Ilaria, an Italian freelancer working in the space and tech industry.

My career path was anything but linear. I studied architecture, spent years in marketing and communication, and later transitioned into business development. Then, somewhere along the way, I discovered the space sector, and something just clicked.

We have a proverb in Italy: “impara l'arte e mettila da parte” (learn a craft and set it aside). It means no skill you pick up is ever wasted; sooner or later, it finds its purpose. My curiosity has never let me stay confined to just one field; it has always kept me moving between disciplines. I thrive on projects where I can draw from my diverse background, and aerospace is exactly that: a vast, deeply multidisciplinary world where all my past experiences finally came together.

Now, my focus is on the future. I partner with businesses to help them navigate and grow in this fast-paced industry, taking on complex challenges and bringing visionary ideas to life.

And in the meantime?
I’m still learning, still experimenting, and always looking for new skills and knowledge to acquire.

How I work
Understand the technology

With an engineering background, I study the technology in depth before shaping how it reaches the market.

Connect the right people

Progress happens when the right people meet at the right time. Well-designed events and partnerships make that happen.

Tell a clear story

A clear narrative turns strong technology into something investors, partners and clients can act on.

Follow the journey

I share what I learn about the space sector as I go.
